FIFA Confederation Cup
PACE Media Development GmbH, Berlin's special enterprise for playout and real-time graphics systems, successfully demonstrated its closed circuit playout system solution "TV Media" for all stages of the FIFA Confederation Cup 2009 in South Africa.
Berlin / Johannesburg: The rehearsal for the FIFA World Cup ™ took place between 14 June to 28 June 2009. The program included 16 events which were distributed in 4 venues. Eight teams were present: the six continental champions, the world champion and the host South Africa. And CUBA. At the Festival of the Masters, the product line CUBA Broadcast Suite of PACE Media Development GmbH was the base of the FIFA Media Channel Media TV. This closed circuit TV channel was broadcasted in the stadium media centers and was established as an information service to meet the needs of journalists, photographers and other media professionals. It provides the press with the latest information on current events at all times. This included detailed information on the latest games, FIFA' s media statements, press conferences, postponement, team events, transportation and much more. In order to offer high-quality coverage of events happening at several locations simultaneously, the leaders of the local organizing committee chosed CUBA Broadcast Suite. The playout system combines video, audio and text information in real time - and from parallel locations.
