CUBA Broadcast Suite in action for TVN Media Days
Berlin/Hannover: CUBA Broadcast Suite as a multimedia presentation platform at the TVN Media Days
The TVN Media Days took place from 7–11 and 14-18 September 2009 in Berlin and Hannover. The event had its focus on the concept, impact and sustainability of moving images. Examples showing the possibilities moving images can successfully offer companies were presented. The following questions were answered: Which functions can moving images take over in a company? How can you be successful in a company achieving moving images? What are the considerations in concept and production? How can you measure the impact and sustainability of moving images?
High level technical possibilities were achieved through the integration of a real-time multimedia platform based on CUBA Broadcast Suite. Experts showed examples of, how moving images can be applied and targeted as a communication tool for companies. Four screens were dynamically recorded with different non-linear HD content. Any external data information, put into graphs, could be inserted through the use of CUBA, during the multimedia-based presentations. The CUBA video playout server with realtime graphic engine enabled the integration of external dynamic data and information sources such as p.e. graphic stills, animations, videos and live streams. This integration took place at predefined positions and the presenter was able to guide simply and quickly via a wireless mobile device throughout the entire presentation. The presenters were able to dynamically guide the presentation through CUBA and to flexibly answer the audience`s questions or comments. Thus, a non-linear and flexibly designed workflow was possible at all times.
